PPC management: common questions
Before any ad runs, we define your audience, offers and budget and set up conversion tracking. Then we build the campaigns, ad copy and creative for each platform, launch, and test variations. Once the numbers come in, budget moves toward the campaigns that bring in leads, and a monthly report shows what each campaign cost and what it returned.
You do. The Google Ads, Meta and other ad accounts belong to your business and carry your billing details, and we work in them through manager or partner access. If you ever stop working with us, the campaigns, their history and the conversion data stay with you, and removing our access takes a few clicks.
No. Your ad budget is paid directly to Google, Meta or the other platforms, and our management work is priced separately, per project once the scope is clear. The number of platforms and campaigns, how much creative each one needs and how much tracking has to be set up first all shape that scope. We agree the ad budget with you before anything goes live.
Google Ads (search, Maps and display), Google Local Services Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, plus ChatGPT ads as that platform opens to advertisers. The mix depends on what you sell and where your buyers are. A plumber taking emergency calls and a firm selling to other businesses need very different platforms.
Conversion tracking goes in before the first ad runs. Form submissions and other actions are tracked through GA4 and Google Tag Manager, and phone calls through CallRail, which records the campaign and keyword behind each call. Bids and budget then follow real inquiries, and you can see what a lead costs from each campaign.
It depends on your trade. Local Services Ads sit above the regular ads for service-area businesses and charge per lead instead of per click, but they are only open to certain categories and give you less control over targeting. Google Ads gives you control over keywords, landing pages and bids. Many service businesses run both, and we can manage them side by side.
